phase 2

Phase 2 was a comprehensive energy efficiency and renewable energy initiative implemented across more than 80 City and County of Honolulu facilities, including police stations, fire stations, EMS stations, golf courses and more. The project delivered a broad portfolio of Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs), including solar PV systems, LED lighting upgrades, HVAC retrofits and controls improvements, energy-efficient transformers, water conservation measures, and other sustainable facility modernization improvements. These improvements were designed to reduce energy consumption, lower utility costs, enhance facility performance, and support the City's long-term sustainability goals. The project is projected to generate approximately 3.86 million kWh in annual energy savings and more than $1.4 million in annual utility cost savings while modernizing critical public infrastructure citywide.
